As you may be aware, sometime in January 2010, it will become an offence under Irish law to import a Realistic Imitation Firearm (RIF) into Ireland, unless you are a licensed retail of RIFs. Obviously, this has serious implications for Irish airsoft skirmishers and collectors, and will seriously limit your choice of guns. Its no secret that Irish retailers simply cannot hope to stock the vast range of airsoft replicas that our competitors in Hong Kong and China can carry. Up until the introduction of this law, Irish airsofters would happily buy from an Irish retailer when they could, and avail of the customer service and warranty attached to buying from a local supplier, but would also have the option to purchase more obscure guns from the Asian market.

What is a Partner Product ?

Basically, a Partner Product is an item we don't carry in stock, but can order from one of our partners. We'll have them listed on the website, and the price you see is the price you pay - We source the item and ship it to you as soon as we receive it.

How long will I be waiting ?

Naturally, as we don't actually carry a Partner Product in stock, there will be a delay before you receive your goods. We would normally have your item with you in 7-10 days, sometimes a little more. If the waiting period exceeds 14 days, you can opt for an immediate refund upon request. As you'd normally have to wait that long when ordering from abroad anyway, we feel this would be acceptable, and don't forget - you'll also be receiving the usual Eirsoft warranty on your item.

Returns & Replacements

Any product you buy from our Partner Product range is covered by our usual Eirsoft 3 month warranty. All items will also be downgraded to comply with Irish law before they leave Hong Kong, so you don't need to worry about the legality of your purchase.

Ordering

Simply add the product to your cart as normal, and proceed to the checkout. If you order a Partner Product and one of our regularly stocked products on the same order, your order will be split, at no extra cost to you, and the item we carry will be shipped immediately. Your Partner Product item will ship as soon as we receive it.

Why are you doing this ?

Eirsoft realises that no Irish based airsoft retailer can possibly carry the range of airsoft goods that can be found in the Hong Kong online retail stores. The introduction of the personal import ban on RIFs in the Criminal Justice Miscellaneous Provisions Act of 2009 will seriously hinder the Irish airsofters ability to purchase some items not readily available on the Irish market, and which would be economically infeasible for us to carry as a permanent stock item. We are partnering with our Asian colleagues in order to help the Irish airsoft community continue to obtain the finest quality airsoft guns at the keenest prices.

Can I order something not on your site ?

Absolutely - just drop us a line at sales@eirsoft.ie or call us at (01) 8245 770 Monday - Friday, 11am - 5.30pm, and let us know what you require. If possible, please include the name of the site you saw the item, and its product code. A web link would be even better !

Absolutely not - Eirsoft will continue to source and carry a full range of airsoft guns and accessories in both the Dublin and Galway shops. This initiative is simply our way of helping the Irish airsoft community source any airsoft guns they desire which are not readily available in Ireland, provided they conform to Irish law.
